Intraoral Cameras

The intraoral camera gives the patient a unique view of each tooth – enabling them to understand diagnoses and make informed treatment decisions.

Dental Exams & Cleanings

Professional dental cleanings are usually performed by registered dental hygienists. A cleaning appointment includes a dental exam as well as removal of calculus (tartar) and plaque as well as teeth polishing.

Flouride Treatment

Fluoride helps prevent tooth decay. It’s a mineral that is naturally present in varying amounts in almost all foods and water supplies. The benefits of fluoride have been well known for more than 50 years and are supported by many health professionals and organizations.

Prophylaxis

Dental prophylaxis is a cleaning procedure that thoroughly cleans the teeth. It keeps the oral cavity in good health and also halts the progression of gum disease. It has several benefits, including tartar removal, aesthetics, fresher breath and it identifies health issues

Bonding

Bonding is a cosmetic procedure that allows the dentist to reshape or repair your smile using composite resin. Cosmetic bonding is particularly ideal if you’re insecure about the appearance of your smile or want an affordable alternative to invasive and more costly procedures such as orthodontics or veneers.

CEREC ®

Chairside Economical Restorations of Esthetic Ceramic (CEREC®) has revolutionized dental procedures, creating ceramic restorations of damaged teeth within minutes in the dental office.

Dental Implant Restoration

Dental implants are a great way to replace missing teeth and also provide a fixed solution to having removable partial or complete dentures. Implants provide excellent support and stability for these dental appliances. They are strong and durable, providing many years of support.

Porcelain Crowns

A crown encases the entire tooth surface, protecting and strengthening a tooth structure that cannot be restored with fillings or other types of restorations. Several types of crowns are on the market, but porcelain crowns are the most popular because they resemble your natural teeth, providing a natural and long-lasting, beautiful smile.

Fixed Bridges

A dental bridge is a fixed (non-removable) appliance that fills the gap created by one or more missing teeth. The “traditional” bridge is the most popular type, usually made of porcelain fused to metal. Dental bridges are highly durable and last many years.

Dentures & Partial Dentures

A denture is a removable dental appliance that replaces missing teeth and surrounding tissue.  They are made to closely resemble your natural teeth and may even enhance your smile. They are highly durable and last many years.

Complete dentures are used when all of the teeth are missing.

Partial dentures are used when some natural teeth remain. A partial denture not only fills in the spaces created by missing teeth, it prevents other teeth from shifting.

Prosthodontics

Prosthodontics is the specialized field of dentistry concerned with diagnosing, planning and executing restorative and cosmetic treatments. Dentists who specialize in prosthodontics must complete three or four more years of dedicated training following dental school.

A prosthodontist is in essence an architect who formulates a comprehensive treatment plan for each patient. Missing or defective teeth can be extremely detrimental to self-esteem and self-confidence, but using the latest technology a prosthodontist is able to fill these gaps with functional, natural-looking teeth that boost confidence and enhance the smile.

Periodontal Disease & Treatment

The term “periodontics” refers to the dental specialty that pertains to the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of periodontal disease that affects the gums and jawbone. The gum tissues serve to surround and support the teeth, and the underlying jawbone anchors the teeth firmly in place.  Periodontists have completed several years of extra dental training and are concerned with maintaining the function, health and aesthetics of the jawbone and tissues.

Periodontal Scaling & Root
Planing

Periodontal scaling and root planing removes the dental plaque and tartar that cause inflammation to the gum tissue and surrounding bone. This is a non-surgical procedure that completely cleans the periodontium and works effectively for those who suffer from gingivitis and moderate to severe periodontal disease.

Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery

Oral and maxillofacial surgeons are specialists with advanced training and expertise in the diagnosis and treatment of various head and neck conditions and injuries. The oral and maxillofacial surgeon can diagnose and treat a wide variety conditions, including the following:

  • TMJ, Facial Pain, & Facial Reconstruction
  • Dental Implants
  • Tooth Extractions & Impacted Teeth
  • Wisdom Teeth
  • Misaligned Jaws

Tooth Extractions

Tooth extractions are usually a last resort in dentistry, but there are reasons why this may be performed, including pervasive tooth decay, impacted wisdom teeth, or the need to create space for orthodontic devices.

Bone Grafting

Bone grafting is closely associated with dental restorations such as bridge work and dental implants. In most cases, the success of a restoration procedure can hinge on the height, depth, and width of the jawbone at the implant site. When the jawbone has receded or sustained significant damage, the implant(s) cannot be supported on this unstable foundation and bone grafting is usually recommended for successful restoration.
